A set of original songs for voice with piano/keyboard accompaniment. In 1999 the organisation JC2000 encouraged schools across the Britain to celebrate the forthcoming special anniversary of the birth of Jesus in Christmas performances which included depictions of his life and teachings. This composition is an updated version of the work composed for the pupils of Ash Lea School in Nottinghamshire, who first performed the work. The story portrays the birth of Jesus; the wedding at Cana; parable of the sower; feeding of the five thousand; Jesus' entry into Jerusalem; the Garden of Gethsemane; Jesus' trial, crucifixion and resurrection. Suitable for children of Lower Primary age range, including those who find it difficult to articulate and remember complex words and tunes.
